How We Began
Northwind Coffee Roasters was founded in 2012 in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle by two friends with a shared belief: that amazing coffee starts with respect—for the land, the farmers, and the craft.
What began as a small garage roastery has grown into a welcoming space where quality, community, and curiosity come together over every cup.
From day one, we've been committed to sourcing exceptional green coffee and roasting it with care to highlight its unique story and origin.
